Job Summary

Identifying and converting new accounts across the specialities whilst at the same time supporting existing accounts in order to achieve regional sales objectives.

Field Based & standard working hours (e.g. Mon-Fri, 9.00 – 5.00, 35hpw)

Duties & Responsibilities                                                                                                                

  • Implementing national and regional strategies as defined by the National Sales Director UK.
  • To become a subject matter expert, with an excellent understanding of infection and related issues.
  • To identify strategic accounts and future clinical advocates.
  • To work with the marketing and clinical & technical research team to define product positioning and develop marketing materials.
  • Participate at UK Sales Review meetings.
  • To define and implement a plan to:
    1. Set up key users.
    2. Gather data for case studies.
    3. Work with surgeons to collect data which they will present.
    4. Increase scope to Podiatry, Podiatric Surgery & Soft Tissue.
    5. Ultimately develop key surgeons, clinicians and hospitals into advocates, willing to promote the technology to their peers.

Essential Qualifications

  • Level 3 or above degree.
  • Medical device orthopaedic sales experience.
  • Sales growth of new product area demonstrated in previous role.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Empathy & team working.
  • Solutions orientated.
  • Passionate and motivated to cooperate with clients and internal colleagues.
  • Driving license – car driver
  • Hours to be flexible due to variation in operation outcomes/needs

Desirable Qualifications

  • Science based degree.

  • Orthopaedic sales. Soft Tissue/Diabetes sales.

  • Existing relationships with the customer base.

  • Engaging and enthusiastic.

  • Willing to assist across the team/geography.
